Sports Article Writing: Our Focus

Updated: May 21

You have stumbled across a sports article before, almost feeling let down after taking the time to read it. Yes, the spelling is (mostly) there, and the basic facts are accurate, but it's not quite what you hoped. Sometimes, the writer simply repeats what everyone else already knows. They fail to add that personal touch, and it feels like one article in an ocean of many on the same topic.

Sometimes, it even reads as something completely AI-generated! When you read or consume a piece of media from Curious Sports Pulse, agree or disagree, our focus is for you to genuinely feel a part of the conversation. This can take various forms. Sometimes we'll dig deeper, and other times we may provide our "hot take." Maybe it's a hot take, or maybe we're simply ahead of the curve?

Regardless, after setting down that virtual newspaper, you'll know that you are reading the words of a human who took the time to share a more unique perspective, and we hope you enjoy it.

Old School Sports Article Feel with a Modern Twist

In music as well as modern-day journalism, "things aren't what they used to be." Part of this can be explained through nostalgia and looking back while electing to glance over some flaws of the past. However, there is something to the overall feeling of written work and the arts having had more meaning in a former era. There are brilliant individual artists and workers throughout the professional landscape.

Yet a lot of their great work is overshadowed by what can often be described as a cookie-cutter condensed version that simply lacks soul. At Curious Sports Pulse, our aim will be to help bring back that groove in writing and in our discourse, regardless of which form you choose to follow and engage with.

From everyone who contributes to our team in article writing, on camera, to those who solely serve in an advisory role, we'd like to thank you for taking the time out of your day to experience what we have to offer. We look forward to hearing your feedback, and just know that you have an open invitation to join the team in any capacity at any time.
